Finalists Announced
The finalists in the openBIM Awards 2024 have been announced!
This year marks 10 years since the launch of the openBIM Awards program and will see 22 projects compete for the chance to win a prestigious openBIM Award. See the full list of finalists below.

as a Chapter-In-Formation
buildingSMART International is delighted to announce that buildingSMART Saudi Arabia is now a Chapter-in-Formation, demonstrating total commitment and support to openBIM and the development of a network for industry collaboration.
Publication of the European openBIM® Forum (EOF) Manifesto
buildingSMART International European openBIM® Forum and the EUBIM Taskgroup outlines the importance of adopting openBIM standards to enhance digitalization and sustainability in the construction industry. It advocates for the use of open, non-proprietary standards for data exchange to improve interoperability, efficiency, and collaboration across Europe. The manifesto supports initiatives to standardize BIM practices, promote the use of digital twins, and advance environmental goals, aiming to influence European policies and public procurement to mandate openBIM standards for better industry-wide integration and innovation.
Product Domain Call for Participation: "Information LifeCyle Management"
buildingSMART International's Product Domain proposes a project to develop a comprehensive process map to analyze information lifecycles within specific processes and use cases. This project aims to enhance transparency and efficiency beyond the traditional "design and build" phases by providing greater visibility into product lifecycles.
