Welcome to the buildingSMART International Newsletter for January 2023. We start the year with a welcome message from the new CEO, Clive Billiald who joined bSI on the 3rd of January 2023.

Chief Executive Officer, Clive Billiald
buildingSMART International is pleased to announce the appointment of Clive Billiald as its Chief Executive Officer, effective January 3, 2023. Find out about Clive's 25 years of working in construction, engineering, and technology and how his career has spanned both government and industry, across multiple sectors, including acting as the owner of infrastructure and complex equipment assets and leading engineering and construction teams.

This event brings together the international openBIM community to help shape the standards and services that ensure a more sustainable, productive, and collaborative future for the built asset industry. buildingSMART Finland and RIL will host InfraBIM Open 2023, in Tampere, Finland, from January 30th to February 1st.
The event has been growing from strength to strength in previous years, and this year is set to be another great conference. The 2023 InfraBIM Open will also be a hybrid event for those who would like to join online.
